Thank you for visiting the blog. Look for new updates soon!

Welcome, gaming X-Philes!

I was first introduced to the X-Files Collectible Card Game in the Spring of 2000, a few years after USPC Games made the unfortunate decision to have it discontinued. A couple of regulars who played at a game store close to my home returned from a convention with booster packs, starter decks, and a desire to build an X-Files CCG community. They held several tournaments and demo events where young gamers like myself were given the opportunity to buy a deck and a couple of packs for about three bucks and to play to increase our collections with pack prizes. So thanks to those guys I found my way into one of the best games I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing. It was a high time of fun gaming.
This blog is a location where I hope to give something back to a game I’ve loved over the years. It’s for us, the fans of the game. I know you’re out there, shuffling through your collections in the dead of the night, planning your decks, or cursing the fact that you can’t find more copies of the cards because the game is out of print. Perhaps you’re new to the X-Files CCG and have had the fortune of having an introduction similar to mine, or maybe you just found a deck and a few boosters somewhere and decided it was worth a shot. To all of you, welcome.
Through this blog we can communicate and find each other. If you need a card or twelve to complete your set, if you’re looking for someone nearby to play with, or if you just want to stay in touch with people who share your interests this blog is for you. Feel free to comment on posts, send me emails or enquiries so that I can post them for the community, or feel free to share what you enjoy most about the game.
We fans are not alone, even if we’re playing a defunct card game. There are others out there seeking cards and enjoying the game play of the X-Files CCG. Let’s keep it alive!
